It was put into service in 2018 with the cooperation of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation, Üsküdar Municipality and TÜBİTAK. Since its opening, more than 550 thousand students have received education. Science Üsküdar encourages children to discover themselves while making them love science.
There are 5 different workshops in the center: design, natural sciences, mathematics, astronomy and technology. In the workshops, children aged 6-14 learn science both by having fun and by experimenting.
In addition to the existing workshops, there are 3 experimental workshops and a library section in the center.
Added different exhibition areas in 7 themes
The opening of the second phase of Bilim Üsküdar took place in the past weeks. Different exhibition areas were added to the center in 7 themes.
There are also exhibition areas in this center on many subjects from finance to automotive, from the blue planet to national technology. Everyone from 7 to 70 can experience the mechanisms installed in these areas.
One of the most striking parts of the center is the planetarium, the planet house. Here, children lie down on the seats and explore the depths of space.
Adults show interest too
Bilim Üsküdar is a center that attracts not only children but also adults. Especially on the weekends, the exhibition areas are crowded. Bilim Üsküdar, where all trainings are provided free of charge, is open from 09:00 to 18:00 every day except Mondays.
