Aviation, Space and Technology Festival TEKNOFEST opened its doors to its visitors in Ankara on the 100th anniversary of the Republic. At the festival held at Etimesgut Airport, the Turkish Air Forces Command’s aerobatic team SoloTürk and Turkish Stars took their breath away with the air show, and the domestic and national production aircraft exhibited in the event area became the focus of attention of the visitors.
Visitors who wanted to take a souvenir photo with HÜRKUŞ, GÖKBEY, AKSUNGUR, Bayraktar TB2, Bayraktar TB3, Akıncı, Atak, T-129 Atak, Atak-2 and ANKA formed long queues.

Stating that he participated in TEKNOFEST for the first time, visitor Ahmet Aynacı said, “I am truly honored and proud. As a Turkish youth, there are products that I am proud of. We changed the shape of the world with Bayraktar TB2. Hopefully, these will continue. We are proudly following the developments in the field of defense industry.” he said.
Another visitor Şerife Sivrikaya, who stated that she was happy to see local and national products, said: “Our hope is young people. Let’s not forget our past. First time I agree. I’ve seen planes here. We try to take advantage of technology. Our young people should also benefit” said.
