Özgür Güleryüz, General Manager of STM Savunma Teknolojileri Mühendislik ve Ticaret AŞ, stated that they took part in TEKNOFEST with games aimed at increasing the interest of young people in the digital world and exciting them.
At TEKNOFEST, Turkey’s largest technology festival, STM offers an interactive and fun experience to young people interested in cyber security.
In the cyber security room specially created at the STM booth, visitors enter the world of cyber security by fulfilling the challenging questions and tasks. While the competition attracts the attention of everyone from 7 to 70, symbolic prizes are given to those who successfully complete the stages.
“Our aim is to make young people happy”
In his statement, STM General Manager Özgür Güleryüz said that they have been actively participating in TEKNOFEST since the first day.
Drawing attention to the fact that there is a digital age, Güleryüz said that as a company that makes the cyber defense center of the Turkish Armed Forces and the data centers of the security forces, they perform games to increase the interest of young people in the digital world and to excite them.
Explaining that as STM, they organize “catch the flag” games for high school and university students and all young people interested in cyber security, Güleryüz said:
“We have prepared a small model of this, especially for young people who enjoy playing with tablets, in order to raise a little bit about what cyber security is, and on the one hand, we have prepared games so that they can see what their brothers and sisters are doing, which we call white hat hackers, who are actually trying to defend our country in the field of cyber security. “
Expressing that they will give symbolic prizes to the winners of the competition, which consists of various stages, Güleryüz said, “Our aim is to make them happy. Let them have fun and bring a light to their eyes. Because they are our future.” said.
