Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, who was in contact with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), visited the production facility of the domestic electric car Günsel and took a test drive.
Minister Kacır was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Near East Formation, Prof. DR. He was accompanied by İrfan Suat Günsel. The delegation also included TRNC Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu.

Stating that Turkey has experience in the automotive industry and that this experience has been crowned with Togg, Kacır wished that the Günsel project, which has been implemented to date with a research, development and design-oriented approach, would be incorporated into the experience and Turkey’s experience will be integrated in the coming period.
