Kıraç evaluated the descent of the first Turkish astronaut Alper Gezeravcı from the International Space Station (ISS) to Earth and said that they planned for Gezeravcı to return to Turkey after the first treatments.

Kıraç pointed out that the health check process would take three to seven days and said he predicted that it would take less time for Gezeravcı.

Kıraç stated that Gezeravcı conducted 13 scientific experiments during his stay in space and that the results of the experiments continue to be evaluated.

Pointing out that about two thousand experiments in space exploration have been recorded in the literature so far, Kıraç continued as follows:

“Now the experiments carried out by a Turkish astronaut have been published in the literature. Hopefully they will also be useful in academic and international publications from now on. In parallel with this mission, we are currently conducting our space awareness and personnel mission.” While Alper was there, we met with our students from Samsun to Hatay. We are here. That excitement will continue after Alper’s return. There are invitations to Alper from all provinces of Türkiye. We will see Alper’s contributions to society on space awareness and human resources in the future. Young people should look forward to the Alper brothers. The Alper brothers will come. He “And he’s waiting to meet her.”

Atasever’s trip takes place in the first week of April

Kıraç informed that they will send the second astronaut Tuva Cihangir Atasever into space in April for a suborbital flight of about 80 kilometers and that he will carry out about seven experiments.

Emphasizing that they will eagerly wait for Atasever’s return, Kıraç said: “It looks like Tuva’s spaceflight will take place around the first weeks of April,” he said.
