Minister Kacır evaluated the agreements signed during President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s visit to the UAE as part of his Gulf tour.
Stating that with the Agreement on the Mutual Promotion and Protection of Investments, a legal basis was created for a transparent investment environment for investors, Kacır said that by strengthening the mutual investment climate, economic relations will be carried forward.
Informing that a Memorandum of Understanding was signed on Cooperation in the Field of Digital Transformation, Kacır stated that this agreement will enable the development of digital transformation and digital infrastructure projects of the two countries. Kacır stated that these studies will also create an opportunity to sign data center and artificial intelligence projects.
“With cooperation, a joint launch base will be established and a launch vehicle will be developed”
Reminding that the Memorandum of Understanding on the Development of Joint Launch Vehicle Capabilities for Commercial Purposes was signed, Kacır said:
“With this agreement, it is aimed to increase the share of the two countries in the developing space economy. Thanks to the strategic cooperation that will be formed in this way, the opportunities for establishing a joint launch base and developing a launch vehicle will increase even more. With these studies and projects, relations between Turkey and the UAE will continue at the highest level.”
